Betty’s is still heaven!

RRASK and I made the trek to Betty’s today for some foot reflexology.  I hadn’t seen Betty in 2.5 years!!  That’s just craziness!!

Betty is like a psychic to your feet.  She took one look at a former friend’s feet and said, you’ve had 2 C-sections…and she was right!!  Today she looked at my feet and knew about the back trouble I’d had off and on for the last year.    She feels that I have a rib out of  place, which can imitate the symptoms of a herniated disc.   She thinks it’s about T9.

She also thinks that I need to have my hypothalamus and my pituitary gland checked.  Apparently my adrenals seem to be having issues and she thinks that this is why, despite all of the changes I’ve made for the better, I’m not losing weight.  Luckily, I am not focused on a number or size; I just want to feel better and I do.

I am going to purchase a bloodpressure cuff for myself so that I can show my regular doctor how much my blood pressure has dropped.   I would love to get off of my blood pressure medicine, Atenolol. I think that the side effects of the medication are really getting to me.  Plus, my bp readings at my various doctor appts have been very low.

I am also going to get a referral to an endocrinologist.  It can’t hurt to have my glands checked, as Betty suggested.  She’s pretty in tune wth the human body.

Also, it was just lovely to spend the day with RRASK.  I love those kind of days!
