You can’t mess with the logic of Seinfeld

George: “What, I’m not married! I’m not allowed to go out with somebody else?”
In response to which Jerry and George have the following conversation:
“What’s your phone call frequency? Are you on a daily?” (Jerry)
“No. Semi-daily. Four, five times a week.” (George)
“How about Saturday nights? You have to ask her out or is the date implied?” (Jerry)
“Implied.” (George)
“She got anything in your medicine cabinet?” (Jerry)
“There might be some moisturizer.” (George)
“Uh huh. Let me ask you this? Is there any tampax in your house?” (Jerry)
“Yeah.” (George)
“Well I’ll tell you what you got here.” (Jerry)
“Yeah?” (George)
“You got yourself a girlfriend!” (Jerry)
“No No! Are you sure? A girlfriend?!?” (George)
“I’m looking at a guy on a semi-daily with tampax in his house and an implied date on Saturday night.  I would like to help you out, but…” (Jerry)

I didn’t plan this.  I wasn’t going to be in a relationship with The Veteran.  But the fact that we do talk on the phone every day, I have stuff at his house, and the weekends together are implied….yeah, I have a boyfriend.

Hmmmmmmm.

The new bed is amazingly comfortable.  And he was all sweet about the way he had it set up, including flowers on the shelf above it.  He did have a bit of a hard time letting go of the waterbed which I expected.  I told him, you know, those are your memories and  I would never ask you to get rid of those.

He teared up a bit and I held him. He said, I know it’s the right thing for me to do.  I know that I should have made these changes years ago.  But it was just me.  Now it’s us and I want you to be happy here, too.

It was so unbelievably sweet.  Yes, there is a huge age difference.  Yes, he has some issues left over from the military days.  But all in all, he is one of the finest men I know.  And he treats me like gold.  So, I’m in a relationship.
