And the heat, My God, the heat!!

So, what has Lawgirl been up to?  Let’s see, I drove home from Pittsburgh on Wednesday, arriving at the office the same time that Miley did from Cinci.  We worked together for a bit and then went and checked into her hotel.  (I was going to stay with her at the hotel because we had to be downtown early on Thursday.)  So, we check-in and go upstairs…..to a room with one king-sized bed.

We immediately head back down, laughing.  We get close to the desk and I wickedly say, But honey, it’s our third anniversary!!  The desk clerk just about pees her pants, laughing hysterically.  We head back up to the new room, which has two queen beds in it.  Then we head to trivia with Pixel, Cawsn, and some other friends.  The luck of the Irish is with me, as I kick Pixel’s hiney in one of the main games.  All in all we had a fabulous time.  They loved Miley. 

The next day, we went to work.  We then had to meet Wales and Tovah for lunch.  After that, it was back to my office to meet up with The Illusionist for the rest of the afternoon and then for dinner that night.  I ended up staying with Miley again Thursday night.  But I was already feeling crappy from the heat.  It just doesn’t agree with me.  I get sick almost immediately.

Friday, the crappy feelings continued through lunch with everyone.  I ended up leaving early and heading to The Veteran’s to recover.  He made us dinner last night and is making me dinner right now  We’ve had a very nice weekend together thus far.
