RBoC Tuesday

• Talked to Coach today for the first time in weeks.  He sounds like he is feeling somewhat better finally from his surgery back in March.  He said that he missed the way I made him laugh.
• Played a pickup game of trivia with Pixel last night.  He has some smack talk about it on his blog.  Yes, I only won once, but I also finished ahead of him once and in another game, I led the whole way….until I effed up the last question and he won by a small amount of points.  I’m getting better!!  We had such a good time together – he is one of those friends where we can be talking nonstop or we can just sit and enjoy each other’s company quietly.  I love that.  He is an amazing person and I’m so glad he’s my friend.
• The Veteran is making enchiladas from scratch for me this weekend. Yummmmm.  We have such a good time together.  I believe that people come into your lives for a reason and I think that I’m in his life to make him laugh again after his wife and I think he’s in mine to show me how a man is really supposed to treat a woman.  He’s preparing me for my (to borrow a line from Pixel) final first date.  I’m so independent – I’ve never had a man do my laundry or take such good care of me.  It’s soothing and something I am sure I can get used to. Lol.  But of course, I try to do nice things for him, too.
• I have stuff to post about work but will do that in a separate post so that I can make it go *poof* later on.
• I have some articles about recent SCOTUS decisions I want to post.  And I loathe SCOTUS – all they do is follow popular opinion.
• I am only traveling once (at least as far as I know) in July and none in August.  Woot woot!!  And they gave me the corporate credit card without even blinking.
• Cylon is visiting the office on Thursday….ohhh darn, I’m on vacation that day!!!
