Update….on career

Well, if you haven’t heard the news yet, law school is done. I believe that my friend, Joradance, summed it up when she said that she knew that at some point I had changed my mind about being a lawyer. She was right. It was after my dad and my nephew died and I had fallen in love with E-Harmony Guy. They were all reminders of the life going on around me and that there were more important things in life than work and school, work and school.

So, school made the decision for me and now I have loads of time on my hands again. So much so that I am overwhelmed by the extra time in my life. I am working my way through some projects that I’ve put off for the last 4 years.

But, I did order some books about careers from home and the outlook on all careers. They screamed medical transcription over and over again, and yours truly is enrolling in an online course. It should take about a year and I plan on doing it part time for extra cash at first. Slowly, I will work it into full time and be able to work from home. At least that’s the plan for now.
